And here are some pictures of it during the production run.

It began with sewing on the pocket pieces, so this picture is of the pocket pieces cut out and ready.



Here are the pocket pieces folded and pressed.



Here are the pocket pieces sewn on the fronts.



Here are the fronts sewn onto the backs and pressed.



Next the collar subassemblies were sewn, cut out, but not turned yet.



I was planning to do a pictorial for this project so everyone could see how this is done, but by the time I got this far, I was under the gun to get these made so didn't have time to take anymore pics after that, but this should give you the gist of what working in series is like.

This fabric is 100% cotton and has the thickness of the Golden Era GIJoe uniforms. I tried to design this to have a vintage Hasbro "feel" about them - like if Hasbro had made them back during the AT years - and added the darts and waistband that is very reminescent of the Golden era Hasbro MP/Ike Jackets. And finally, I decided to add the epaulets as a surprise neat thing to the origninal design shown earlier in this thread (the "black eye" shots). And that is all I can think of to say about this project from my end.
