Thanks again, guys. The mold will take about two weeks to make. Then, I will have to allow the castings to dry which will take about a week. So we are looking
at about three weeks total before I can start shipping them out.

I am pleased to announce that the first and most crucial coat of rubber has been added to the FHQ stand. Everything appears to have went well.
Unfortunately, I will not know if the first coat is perfect until the whole mold is done and dry. I have several more coats to go and have to space them out over several days so that the first coats have time to dry. Then, I have to remove the original sculp from the mold. Removal ALWAYS destroys the original sculp. Until I cast the first FHQ figure stand and remove it from the mold, I will not know if the mold is good. I have made many molds and have never messed one up but there is always a first time. If the mold is good, it will detail all the imperfections of the original sculp. I do not strive to make my sculps perfect. I think small defects add detail and make a sculp such as this, more authentic. For those who want perfection, small defects can be corrected by carving, sanding and/or filling.

Fantastic, Dave, sounds like you know what you are doing!
Good luck! It must be a little scarey knowing the original won't survive. Brian

Thanks again guys. I can tell you'll that the mold is half finished now. I have two to three more coats to go which amounts to roughly another 4 days. I
sincerely hope that the mold is good so that I can provide one to all club members who want one.

I am pleased to announce that the final coat of rubber has been added. This coat should be dry by Sunday and if so, we will know if the mold is good then.

Fill the holes with baby powder & superglue. This is what we used to "clean up" the imperfection in the PROTOTYPE Dept. @ TRENDMSTERS.
