Wow! Major Bludd never looked so cool before! That's an EXCELLENT, though incredibly expensive bash ya done! Really a top-class piece!

Getting on to the Airfix soldiers, these are my favorite figures from when I was just a wee, little private soldier, too! I think my first 2 boxes were the Infantry Combat Group and the Afrika Corps! Got them along with some ROCO Minitanks and the rest is history! I was very much hooked on HO-1/72d scale figs ever since, although I haven't done much with them until just recently. I've been finding some books for wargaming and I will be using my Airfix figs and minitanks once again!

In fact, between the Joes and my little soldiers, I've been trying to combine the ideas into this "1/6th Republic" idea so as to have a common background for ALL my miniature toys, from the Joes on down to all my 1/72d soldiers! Joes will be the top end of the idea with the smaller soldiers for wargaming with Medievals, Cowboys, Napoleonic soldiers, right up to the modern WW 2 and 1980's European theaters of operations!

Thanks for posting your kit-bash, AK! He touches a lot of esthetic areas for me!
