Duart,
I made the shotgun shells back in my OCD days when I was on high doses of pain medication. I found a plastic rod that was 3/32 dia., that I cut 3/8 lengths, next I punched out 1/8 discs with my favorite leather punch & glued them to one end of the cut rods. This is where it got tricky, I chucked them one at a time in my Dremel tool (Use a 3/32 collet it will not leave tool marks on your part), spun them at low speed to make the end caps round & cut in the detail lines. I did this with dental tools, mini files. X-acto knifes, razor blades, & fine sandpaper. Last I painted the shells flat red for the body & brass for the end caps. In scale I would guess the shotgun shells are equal to a 20 gauge or a 410 shotgun, they are on the small side.
