Posts: 353 (03/01/09 12:37 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None As always while I was looking for something else, I found this guy and since we were talking about McDare earlier, took some pics of my best pair of MOON McDARE Coveralls, this is all original and you can see how nicely they fit vintage GIJoe. 1st of all, I still love the Hasbro vintage Coveralls the best, but these are a close 2nd. I love the color, the quirky printed on zippers and the quality is easily equal to Hasbro Golden era. This last picture shows a little of how I store and organize my collection. Because in the 60's joe didn't have suits or dress slacks & shirts like 007 & Men From U.N.K.L.E. figures did!!! Joes didn't have the Priavte[Honey West]Eye either!!!!!!!!! The car looks great too. Yes, the jumpsuit looks great. I particularly like the addition of pockets on it and the elastic sleeves. Didnt those man from uncle guys come with a little metal gun that shot caps? I seem to remember that. Or am I thinking of a James Bond figure? Honey West herself in that black leotard (camel toe alert). Wow, what a Sweet collection. It was great that they fit GIJoe so well too. A coincidence, I am guessing... Ever heard of the 60s Joe Namouth 12" Action Figure? I think he was Mego. He came in a NY Jets football outfit.. helmet, cleats, football, etc., but the incredible thing was his accessory sets were outfits Joe could wear when he was doing the night life circuit in NYC. High fashion evening duds, no less. (but no pantyhose). Forgot to mention. In the pics I shot - above, that's a talking body wearing them and there's room to spare. I get tired of seeing them wear the same thing all the time. I also look for small items that the men would use in everyday life.

I am not sure if the football is Joe Namouth or Johnny Hero. All 60s stuff though. The head isn't too bad, but the shoes steal the show. Soft rubber, not thin walled, L & R Molds. Probably the best vintage sport shoes ever made. The coat is a faux suede material and the pants are mini cords that snap at the back (and as the next pictures shows, way too small for GIJoe hips ). There you have it, the extent of my Joe Namouth collection, although I am thinking that I might have another one of his outfits around here somewhere. Custom Outfitworks

Wish I had something like that for my Joe pilots. I very much like the way you store your collection. Nicely systematic and neat. Top marks for you, 327! Tonz...you are special, man! What a collection you have! Man from UNCLE was one of my favorite shows as a kid! Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin were my heros...along with Sgt. Saunders on COMBAT! Oh, and Jim West, from The Wild, Wild West! Gotta say though...that Sean Connery "James Bond" figure looks rather odd, like he's a halfling demi-human of some sort. Kinda scary-looking features. Weird, even. Now I wish they made a better "true-to-life" JAKKS Pacific "body-scanned" Honey West in 1/6th!!! Oo-la-la! (And Angie Dickinson, and well, I could name a number of '60's movie actresses, like Yvonne Craig--Batgirl, and Wonder Woman--whatzhername, and Cat Woman!) Oh hell...I'm going soft in the head remembering "old ladies" now, but not their names! "I live in my own little world. But it's OK. They know me here."
