New Find, but who is it? |

I picked this up this weekend, not sure who this guy is, marked 1977 idealon the back of his head, hong kong on his back. Figure is all black and the same
size as a Joe. I thought he was cool
Any body know who this guy is?

Awesome figure !!! Kinda looks like Darth Vader!!!! That head is kinda scary looking !!! I have never seen him before.

We talked about him awhile back- Kaber found one at a thrift store I believe- he's from Ideal's Space line- I forgot who he was but he was a knockoff
of Darth Vader- every piece from the Ideal line was retooled from a previous figure - the villian was a retooled Captian Action. The silver android was a
retooled JJ Armes/Action Boy; the smaller droids were from another Ideal line, etc. Kaber would remember. -Omar, who realizes that there are some things that
even Omarpedia doesn't know.

These were real popular in the 80s as a source for Captain Action repair parts, especially the hands, which were an easy switch and made CA or Dr Evil look
like they were wearing black gloves. His boots were CA Black Boots too, which most were glad to get.
